Overview

Tev-bîpíë Bî was founded durring the late 15th century in fall of the year 1367, by Mírdes Êbmënm. The establishment of Tev-bîpíë Bî was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Tev-bîpíë Bî's construction back out of the project. Mírdes Êbmënm pushed on reguardles, and Tev-bîpíë Bî was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Tev-bîpíë Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Tev-bîpíë Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Tev-bîpíë Bî is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of spacious cobblestone streets which form hexical paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town has a defencive wall made from querried stone. The wall is equipped with a full set of battlments but the nature of its construction methodology leaves it somewhat vulnerable to siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. Astonishigly, the cost-cutting-focused defences are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

Right off the bat Tev-bîpíë Bî hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The new wealth has created some worrying attitudes in many passers by, such that it’s clear new laws have recently been enacted and enforced with such extreme scrutiny the locals seem to be going about their day as if by clockwork.

Civic Infrastructure

Tev-bîpíë Bî has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Tev-bîpíë Bî. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Tev-bîpíë Bî's parks.

Tev-bîpíë Bî has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Tev-bîpíë Bî.

Tev-bîpíë Bî has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.

Tev-bîpíë Bî has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Tev-bîpíë Bî has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Tev-bîpíë Bî's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Tev-bîpíë Bî has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Tev-bîpíë Bî's natural decorations nor waterways.

Tev-bîpíë Bî has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Tev-bîpíë Bî has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.

Cultural Notes

Tev-bîpíë Bî's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by vertical proportions, pointed arches, external buttressing, and asymmetry in the general shape of its buildings. The decorative features of the style were key, consisting of large arched windows, pointed arches, vaulted ceilings, flying buttresses, and sculptures integrated into the structure itself. Occasionally, for very important buildings, an array of sculptures or one colossal sculpture might replace the entirety of the entrance to said building.

In Tev-bîpíë Bî leaves and flower petals never touch the ground.

The Dvorovoi near Tev-bîpíë Bî are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Tev-bîpíë Bî's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves destroying a prepared ritual vessel to channel Abjuration energies of tier 2 via divine sermons.

History

Tev-bîpíë Bî used to be much richer, but something happened in the last (9588 % 6)+1 years to crush its source of prosperity. Different factions of the community might be trying to grasp at the remaining dregs of wealth, others might try to restart the failed industry, and some might look for a new livelihood. Any group or entity thought responsible for the collapse is likely to be treated very harshly, and some locals might find profit in shifting the blame to their enemies.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century several years of heavy rains culminated in a peculiar disaster. A great hole opened up beneath Tev-bîpíë Bî, swallowing large sections of the community. Tev-bîpíë Bî lost 216 people, 248 livestock, and 53 buildings in the disaster. This disaster is often refereed to as The Doom Swallowing.
